About Me

Gary Sailer, CGCS: I have been married to my wonderful wife Jill for 15 years. We have 3 children. Jack (13), Mitch (11), and Gretta (9). I received my 4 year degree from Iowa State University which is where my interest in Golf course management began. I graduated in the spring of 1991 and moved to Lawrence, Kansas and started my career at Alvamar Golf and Country Club. I have also worked at Eagle's Landing in Belton, MO, Sycamore Ridge in Spring Hill, KS, and Stone Canyon GC in Independence MO before arriving here at Nicklaus Golf Club where I am extremely happy.
